Use the below-mentioned personal protective equipment for maintenance:
• Cut-resistant gloves for protection against injury from sharp metal plate edges. Use CE-marked gloves for this purpose.
• Helmet
• Particulaterespirator-maintenancefreeincludingfoamface-sealandadjustablepre-threadedheadbands-forreplacinglters.
• Tools to block the impeller during repairs and maintenance if stack effect-also called chimney effect - in the ducts create air
owsthatdrivestheimpellersbyturnedoffmotors
The unit must always be handled in an upright position. Never tilt any section more than 15 degrees. If sections must be tilted
more than 15 degrees, sections with fans or rotating exchangers that can be drawn out for service must be secured carefully.
During transportation, installation, dismantling or other handling, it must be secured that all components in the unit are
properly fastened and with additional attention to the control of anti-vibration mounts under the fans that they are undamaged.
The mounting and smooth running of the fans must be controlled and handled with great care.
Units installed on roofs and other places with the risk of heavy winds must be installed reliable to avoid that they can be tilted
ormovedbytheanystorm.Thebaseframeisprovidedwithholesthatareintendedforfasteningbysufcientboltsandttings
supplied by the installer.
