3.5.3 Run around coil

Inpreparingthewater-antifreezemixture,followtheinstructionsandpreparethemixtureofthespecied
concentration, since too high a concentration reduces the heat exchanger thermal power, while too low a
concentrationposesariskofinadequateprotectionagainstfreezingatlowoperatingtemperatures.
Commissioning (Hydraulic circle)
• Makesuretoproperlyconnecttheheatexchangers:theymustbeconnectedinacounter-owconguration(air
inlet side = medium outlet side).
• Thecirculationpumpmustmeetthedesignspecications.
• Install venting and draining valves at appropriate points.
• Inordertoavoidtheriskofcondensatefreezingonthenpackage,themediumtemperatureattheinletofthe
heatexchangerintheextractairowmaynotbelessthan-3°C.
• Connectthehydrauliccircuitinaccordancewiththedesignspecicationsandapplicablesafetyregulations.The
hydrauliccircuitmustbettedwithanappropriatelysizedandinstalledexpansionvesselandasafetyvalve,as
well as with all other necessary elements, depending on the method of control. Figure presents a hydraulic circuit

Maintenance (Hydraulic circle)
• Regularlychecktheoperationofthecirculatingpumpandmakesuretokeepthepipingbetweentheheat
exchangers properly vented.
• Twiceayear,checktheoperationofthecontrolsystem.
• Atthebeginningofthewinterseason,checktheanti-freezingcapabilityofthemediumandreplaceitifnecessary.
Replace the medium every two years.
