Check the drive belt annually. Replace if necessary. Reuse both brackets. If new screws are needed do not hesitate to
make the screws even with the surface of the inner bracket.
R.6.5 Cross flow and counter flow plate heat exchanger cleaning
Note:
The edges of the heat exchanger plates are to be checked for cleanliness and damage.
If there is dust on the edges of the plates, remove it with a soft brush or with an brush attachment to the hose of a vac-
uum cleaner. The thin plates are not constructed for cleaning with compressed air or high pressure water.
Note:
Greasy deposits can be removed by non-presurized hot water or by a detergent spray and washed with
non-pressurized water. Strongly alkaline or other substances corrosive to the plates or the seal should be
avoided. Take care that the water in the drip tray during the cleaning is escaping through the outlet with no
overflow of water from the drip tray. Removal of the water trap during the cleaning is recommended.

If a droplet eliminator has been fitted, this must be cleaned regularly according guidelines displayed in the
section R.3 above
