Company statement frequency converter with axial fans
Dear Sir or Madam,
We hereby confirm that the use of a frequency converter for speed control of axial
fans of the AXC series is permissible.
The operating range of the fan should be limited to a minimum of 10 Hz and a
maximum of 60 Hz (provided that 60 Hz is an available operating frequency in the
axial selection software). The rated electrical motor data indicated on the motor type
plate must not be exceeded. This applies in particular if the operating frequency
exceeds the mains frequency.
Furthermore, we confirm that the use of a frequency converter
(tested type: Danfoss FC102) for speed control of axial smoke extract fans of the
AXC (B) and AXC (F) series is permissible. The operating range of the fan should
be limited to a minimum of 10Hz and a maximum of the mains frequency (see fan
type plate). The rated electrical motor data indicated on the motor type plate must
not be exceeded. If, in individual cases, the mains frequency is to be exceeded
during operation, please contact Systemair in advance.
The information in the installation and operating instructions of the used frequency
converters and fans must always be observed.
