FC101 Design Guide

5.1.1 Mains and Motor Connection
The frequency converter is designed to operate all
standard 3-phase asynchronous motors. For maximum
cross-section on cables, see chapter 8.4 General Technical
Data.
Use a shielded/armored motor cable to comply
with EMC emission
specications and connect
this cable to both the decoupling plate and the
motor.
Keep the motor cable as short as possible to
reduce the noise level and leakage currents.
