Danger
All work on the control units and switchgears must be performed by trained electricians according to the provisions of the VDE (Verband
Deutscher Elektrotechniker). They must only be conducted when the system is powered down.
Important
Observe these five safety rules!
• Power down
• Secure against reactivation
• Verify that no voltage is pending
• Earth and short-circuit
• Cover or fence off adjacent live parts
Warning
Facility safety devices and systems must be reviewed for intended function before commissioning of the systems.
Safety devices are:
• EMERGENCY OFF circuits
• End position switches
• Safety temperature limiters
• Air flow monitoring
