8.1.1 SETTING UP THE CHILLED WATER CIRCUITS
The positions of the water inlet and outlet connections are indicated in the gure below. The connections can also be iden-
tied by the adhesive labels applied on the pipes of the unit near the connections.

To ensure that circuit pipes are installed correctly, we recommend you follow the instructions below:
Use piping suited to the circuit pressure (copper, steel or plastic).
Secure pipes with suitable brackets.
Insulate both pipes with Armaex type insulation.
Install shut-o valves to facilitate maintenance.
Install a Thermometer and Pressure gauge on the inlet and outlet.
Install a discharge outlet at the lowest part of the circuit.
Install a 50 μ mechanical lter on the supply line.
Install a balance valve on the return line.
Use water and glycol where necessary.
8.1.2 POWER VALVE - WATER FLOW ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM (ACCESSORY)
This accessory entails installation of a measuring device to control the instantaneous water ow of the system. The maxi-
mum admissible water ow set-point for the unit may be adjusted within the SySmart
3
electronic control. Should this threshold be
exceeded, SySmart
3
will restrict valve opening to maintain water ow rate below it, resuming normal operation as soon as the system
goes back to normal.
It is also possible to install probes on the water circuit to detect the water temperature on inlet and outlet, which make it
possible to calculate the units' instantaneous cooling power, as well as its temperature delta.
