1.14.3 AIR PURGE operaon

Once installaon is complete it is important to run the air purge funcon to remove any air which may be present in the water
piping and which could cause malfuncons during operaon.
The AIR PURGE operaon is used to remove air from the water piping. Before
running AIR PURGE mode, make sure that the air purge valve is open. When
the air purge operaon starts, the 3-way valve opens and the 2-way valve
closes. 60 secs later the pump in the unit (PUMPI) operates for 10min during
which the ow switch does not work. Aer the pump stops, the 3-way valve
closes and the 2-way valve opens. 60 secs later both PUMPI and PUMPO
operate unl the next command is received. If any error code is displayed
during the air purge operaon, the cause should be invesgated.
1.14.4 CIRCULATION PUMP RUNNING operaon
MENU > FOR SERVICEMAN > TEST RUN > CIRCULATION PUMP RUNNING
The CIRCULATION PUMP RUNNING operaon is used to check the operaon
of the circulaon pump. When the circulaon pump running operaon
starts, all running components stop. 60 secs later, the 3-way valve opens and
the 2-way valve closes. Aer a further 60 secs PUMPI starts. 30 seconds later,
if the ow switch detects that the water ow is normal, PUMPI operates
for 3 min. Aer the pump stops 60s, the 3-way valve closes and the 2-way
valve opens. 60s later both PUMI and PUMPO will operate. Aer a further
2 min the ow switch start to check the water ow. If the water ow rate
is sucient, both PUMPI and PUMPO operate unl the next command is
received. If the water ow rate is insucient over any 15-second period,
PUMPI and PUMPO stop and error code E8 is displayed. Refer to Part 3, 8.2
“Error Code table”.
1.14.5 COOL MODE RUNNING operaon

The COOL MODE RUNNING operaon is used to check the operaon of the
system in space cooling mode.
During the COOL MODE RUNNING operaon, the Heat Pump Split unit leaving
water set temperature is 7°C. The current actual leaving water temperature
is displayed on the user interface. The unit operates unl the leaving water
temperature drops to the set temperature or the next command is received.
If any error code is displayed during the cool mode running operaon, the cause should be invesgated. Refer to Part 3, 8.2 “Error
Code table”.
