8.14.6 HEAT MODE RUNNING operaon
The HEAT MODE RUNNING operaon is used to check the operaon of the system
in space heang mode.
During the HEAT MODE RUNNING operaon the Heat Pump Split unit leaving water
set temperature is 35°C. The current actual leaving water temperature is displayed
on the user interface. When the HEAT MODE RUNNING operaon starts, the heat
pump rst runs for 10 mins.

Aer 10 mins:
On systems where an auxiliary heat source (AHS) is installed, the AHS starts and runs for 10 mins (whilst the heat pump
connues running), aer which the AHS stops and the heat pump connues to operate unl the water temperature rises to
the set temperature or the heat mode running operaon is exited by pressing OK.
On systems where a backup electric heater is being used, the backup heater turn on (on models where the backup heater has
a simple on/o control funcon). 3 mins later the backup electric heater will turn o. The heat pump will then operate unl
the water temperature rises to the set temperature or the next command is received.
On systems with no auxiliary heat source (AHS), the heat pump will then operate unl the water temperature rises to the set
temperature or the next command is received.
If any error code is displayed during the cool mode running operaon, the cause should be invesgated. Refer to Part 3, 8.2 “Error
Code table”.
8.14.7 DHW MODE RUNNING operaon
The DHW MODE RUNNING operaon is used to check the operaon of the system in DHW mode.
During the DHW MODE RUNNING operaon, the DHW set temperature is 55°C. On systems where a tank boost heater is installed,
the tank boost heater will turn on once the heat pump has run for 10 mins. The tank boost heater will turn o 3 min later and the
heat pump will operate unl the water temperature rises to the set temperature or the next command is received.
