Single Connection means that only one VRF-AHU Kit and no other indoor units are installed in
one system.
Multi Connection means that more than two indoor units are integrated in a VRF system.
Therefore, 1 to max. 3 VRF-AHU Kits as well as one or more Systemair VRF internal devices
SYSVRF could be integrated. The outdoor unit cannot be set up for automatic address
assignment. You have to set up an individual device address for each VRF-AHU Kit and each
indoor unit first by using the local remote control.
(1) Maximum 3 VRF-AHU Kits can be integrated in one system.
(2) Each VRF-AHU Kit must be assigned an address. The number of virtual addresses is
selected by the VRF-AHU Kit depending on the rated power set at ENC1. If a virtual
address is assigned in the system, it cannot be assigned to a real indoor unit in the same
system. Table 7-1 shows the variants of how virtual addresses are assigned.
Example:
Two VRF-AHU Kits are connected in one system. The first one has a nominal power of 56 kW.
The switch ENC1 hast to be set to „D“ - 4 virtual addresses are assigned to the VRF-AHU Kit.
Now, on switch SW 2 a fixed address has to be selected. For example SW2-1: OFF, SW2-2:
ON (Address 10 (fix)).

The addresses 10, 11, 12 and 13 are automatically assigned to the VRF-AHU Kit. For the
second VRF-AHU Kit, ENC1 has also to be set for the power. The setting of the DIP switch
needs to be selected differently from the first VRF-AHU Kit. Address 15 or 20.
