CONDENSATE PUMP INSTR 133579 A002

General |
1
1 General
Silent running centrifugal pump with 1,5 m power cable. To be used if the air handling unit is installed in a tight area
with no room for a drain trap. The pump can be installed in a location with some distance to the unit.
2 Installation
The pump should be installed in a way that it can be removed easily for cleaning purposes, min. space above the pump
is 160 mm. The pump must be mounted in level and the inlet must be below the lowest drain.
2.1 Connecting the tubing
Attach a tubing to the heat recovery unit drainage connection and to the inlet hole on the condensate pump.
This drain tubing should have a continuous downward slope to allow gravity flow. Cut the end of the line at an angle so
the end does not close of the bottom of the pump’s tank.
Fig. 1
Connect the discharge tubing, 8x2 mm (figure 1, pos 1) by hand-tighten the cap nut of the check valve in a clockwise
direction. Extend the discharge tubing straight up from the pump to the highest point, run the discharge tubing to a
drain with downward slope.
For best results, the drain should be below or approx. level with the bottom of the pump tank.
Pos 2 is the pumps reservoir. If the reservoir is are filed to the top of pump the overflow alarm will be activated (If
connected).
Alternative connection:
If it is not possible to use the drain trap enclosed with the air handling unit, connect the tubing from the air handling unit
to the drainage pump, fill the pump tank with some water. That will then work as drain trap.
3 Wiring
Warning
Make sure that the Mains supply to the unit is disconnected before performing any maintenance or
electrical work!
All electrical connections must be carried out by an authorized installer and in accordance with local rules
and regulations.
Connect the overflow alarm switch by connecting the cables to a free digital input (DI), see the Air handling units wiring
diagram. Cables White = common , Black = NO.
