Speed controller for variable voltage 1~ phase motors

General

The device is constructed in accordance with the current state of
technology and the recognised safety regulations. Nevertheless,
use of the device is associated with dangers which may cause
death or injury to users or third parties as well as damage to the
system and other objects. The device is intended exclusively for
the tasks listed in the order confirmation. Any other or extraor-
dinary uses of the device (unless previously agreed by contract)
are considered contrary to regulations. The manufacturer is not
liable for damages resulting from incorrect use. The operating
company alone bears the risk.
To allow for future developments, construction methods and
technical data given are subject to alteration. We do not accept
any liability for possible errors or omissions in the information
contained in data, illustrations or drawings provided.
Safety measures
Apart from the operating instructions and the obligatory regula-
tions to be followed by users relating to accident prevention, the
recognised technical regulations must also be observed (safety
and branch-related work as per UVV, VBG, VDE, etc.).
These devices are potentially dangerous if they are used incor-
rectly by untrained personnel or are not implemented according
to their specified use. Work on electric components/modules
may only be carried out by trained electricians in accordance
with electro-technical regulations (e.g. EN 60204, DIN VDE
0100/0113/0160).
The contractor or owner must also ensure that the electric
systems and equipment are operated and maintained in ac-
cordance with electro-technical regulations. It is forbidden to
carry out work on electrically live parts. The rating given in the
enclosure for the device when open is IP00! It is possible to
inadvertently touch components carrying hazardous voltages!
During operation, the device must be closed or installed in a
control cabinet.
Fuses may only be replaced by new ones and must not be re-
paired or bypassed. Use only specified fuses.
The safe isolation from the supply must be checked using a
two-pole voltage detector.
Any faults detected in the electric system/modules/operating
equipment must be corrected immediately. If these faults are
not corrected, the device/system is potentially very danger-
ous. The device/system must therefore not be operated when
it is faulty.
Check the packaging and controller for damage. Store the
controller in its original packaging in a dry and weather-proof
room. The device must not be exposed to extreme heat and
low temperatures.

Installation - Connection - Startup
For installation take the rotary button off. Remove the haxagon
nut and the cover.
Assemble the device on a clean and stable base. Do not distort
during assembly! Use the appropriate mounting devices for
proper installation of the unit!
For extremely moistens conditions a hole for condensation water
is to be drilled at the bottom of the surface mounting case (see
drawing). For flush-mounting the surface mounting case is void.
Pay attention that no fluids enter the controller.
Do not mount equipment on vibrating base! Protect the device
from direct exposure to sunlight! Be sure to observe proper heat
dissipation. Clean with non-aggressive products and means.
Entry line and motor cables professionally and make connection
in accordance with connection diagram. Install afterwards the
controller, use the enclosed screws and washers. The minimum
speed must be adjusted in such a way with the black screw (on
the left of down) that the motor starts also during the smallest
setting on the rotary button, after a voltage failure again reliably.
Then install cover again, firmly press in rotary button and check
correct function.
Motor connection
Only voltage controllable motors may be connected. The motor
used should be internally protected against over heating.
Several motors can be connected to the controller. The maxi-
mum total current of all motors (maximum rated current for
electronic control of the voltage) must not exceed the current
rating of the controller.
If the maximum control current for the electronic voltage con-
trol is not known, then allowance for an increase in the motor
rated current up to 25 % must be made.
Function
The desired speed is adjusted steplessly by the rotary button
with switch function. For a safe fan start up the setting begins
with maximum output voltage. This can be reduced down to the
internally adjustment for "n-min”. Separate output (not control-
led 230 V) for accessory equipment e.g. flap, lamp. Alternatively
at this output (terminal
) the mains voltage for bypass the ON
/ OFF contact can be connected.

Disturbances
Check line voltage, terminals and internal controller fuse. The
fuse holder can be pried off with a screwdriver from down, in
it is a spare fuse.

Allmänt

Apparaten är konstruerad med hänsyn till att den stämmer över-
ens med de säkerhetsföreskrifter som gäller. Dock, användandet
av apparaten är associerat med extrem fara vilket kan leda till
dödsolyckor eller orsaka allvarliga skador, antingen mot opera-
tören eller också mot systemet och andra objekt.
Apparaten är enbart avsedd för användningsområden som är
beskrivna i denna manual. Andra användningsområden av ap-
paraten (om man inte tidigare har kommit överens via avtal) är
ansedd att vara motsatsen till gällande föreskrifter. Tillverkaren
är då ej skyldig till de skador som har orsakats vid felhantering
av apparaten. Därmed bär operatörn ensamt ansvar för denna
risk.
Säkerhetsåtgärder
Förutom instruktionerna och de obligatoriska anvisningarna
som skall följas av operatören för att undvika olyckor, måste
även de tekniska anvisningarna observeras.
Dessa apparater är farliga om de handhas felaktigt av outbildad
personal eller används utanför ansedd användningsområde.
Installation av elektroniska komponenter/moduler skall endast
utföras av behörig installatör i enlighet med gällande säker-
hetsföreskrifter.
Entreprenören eller ägaren måste även tillförsäkra om att det
elektroniska system och materielanvändandet och underhåll
stämmer överens med de gällande elektrotekniska föreskrif-
terna.
Det är förbjudet att utföra arbete då apparaten är spänningsfö-
rande. Den angivna kapslingsklassen då apparaten är öppnad är
IP00! Det är möjligt att oavsiktligt komma åt komponenter med
farlig spänning! Under användandet måste apparaten därför
vara stängd eller installerad i en kontrollpanel. Säkringar skall
endast bytas ut mot nya och får absolut inte repareras eller
förbikopplas. Använd enbart specificerade säkringar.
Alla brister som upptäcks i det elektriska systemet/moduler/
användarmaterialet måste repareras omedelbart. Om dessa
brister inte repareras är apparaten/systemet möjligen väldigt
farlig. Därför får apparaten/systemet ej användas då den är
bristfällig.
Kontrollera alltid packningen och komponenterna efter skador,
innan installation. Komponenterna skall lagras i dess originalför-
packning samt i ett torrt och vädertåligt rum. Apparaten får ej
utsättas för extrem värme eller för låga temperaturer.

Installation – Inkoppling – Uppstart
Vid installation, ta bort den vridbara knappen och den åttakan-
tiga muttern och avlägsna sedan fronten.
Montera apparaten på en ren och jämn yta. Vid extrema fuktför-
hållanden, kan ett hål borras för kondensation av vatten i botten
av innerhöljet (se ritning). Vid infälld montering använd ej bak-
stycket. Uppmärksamma att ingen vätska kommer in i panelen.
Montera ej komponenterna på ett vibrerande underlag. Skydda
apparaten från direktkontakt med solljus! Rengör med icke
skadliga produkter och medel. Dra kabelgenomföringar och
motorkablar professionellt och se även till att kopplingsschemat
noggrant följs. Montera därefter panelen, använd bifogade skru-
var och brickor. Den lägsta hastigheten måste justeras med hjälp
av den svarta skruven (vid den nedersta vänstra kanten), så att
motorn med säkerhet kan återstarta efter ett spänningsbortfall.
Sätt därefter på locket och skruva tillbaka åttakantiga muttern.
Tryck sedan varsamt tillbaks den vridbara knappen och kontrol-
lera sedan funktionerna.
Motoranvisningar
Endast reglerbara motorer får kopplas in. Den använda motorn
skall invändigt vara skyddad för överhettning. Flera motorer kan
kopplas till panelen. Den totala strömmen av alla motorer får ej
överskrida maxström på panelen. Ifall motorns maximala ström
för elektronisk utrustning ej är känd, måste en kompensation
med en ökning upp till 25 % av motorns märkström ske.
Funktion
Den önskvärda hastigheten är steglös justerbar med hjälp av
den vridbara knappen med strömbrytarfunktion. För en säker
start av fläkten skall inställningarna börja med maximal utmat-
ning av spänning. Detta kan sedan sänkas ned invändigt till
justerbar ”n-min”. Separat utgång (ej reglerad 230 V, finns vid
plint
) finns för att styra tillbehör som t.ex. en spjällmotor.

Störningar
Kontrollera matspänningen, plintar och den interna panelsäk-
ringen. Säkringshållaren kan bändas loss underifrån med hjälp
av en skruvmejsel. I hållaren finns också en reservsäkring.
