Example of Quick CFC Size Denition for Desired Air Flow:
Let the desired velocity be 400 m³/h.
At this air ow volume in lower diagram the corresponding lter air face velocity can be found for chosen
CFC size 610 × 610.
It is 0,3 m/s. For the same face velocity and the same air ow volume the upper diagram shows initial pressure drop
of the standard class H14 lter with 80 mm thickness (measured in CFC without diffuser panel).
The value is app. 80 Pa.
