Example of Quick CFC Size Denition for Desired Air Flow:
Let the desired velocity be 400 m³/h.
At this air ow volume in lower diagram the corresponding lter air face velocity can be found for chosen
CFC size 610 × 610.
It is 0,3 m/s. For the same face velocity and the same air ow volume the upper diagram shows initial pressure drop
of the standard class H14 lter with 80 mm thickness (measured in CFC without diffuser panel).
The value is app. 80 Pa.
