6. Trouble Shooting
Trouble Solution
Device is frozen
or locked up.
Please rese t th e d evice b y a Power On/O ff
switch on the bottom side of the device.

battery
power.
The remaining battery power may be too low to
run the device.
Connect an AC adapter (or a car char ger) to
the device and external AC power.
Check the P ower On/Off sw itch o n the b ottom
side.
Something
wrong i n the
LCD screen.
If it 's dark, thi s can be from ex cessive
temperature.
(Oper. temp.: -10 ~ +25℃ (with adapter)
Oper. temp.: -10 ~ +50℃ (without adapter))
If it's hard to read, please check the back light
level.
If the screen freezes, please reset the device.
GPS signa l is
not good.
Make sure that the GPS r eceiver is adjusted to
the hor izontal p osition and it has a clear vie w
of the sky.
GPS r eception c an be af fected by bel ow
circumstance.
- Bad weather
- Dense overhead obstacles
(e.g. trees and tall buildings)
- Other wireless device in the car
- Metallic windshield coating
Looket optional external antenna will boost the
performance.
