Device discovery
Before your local device can get to communicate
with a remote Bluetooth device, it needs to
discover the remote devices that are available
within range. This activity is called device
discovery.
To carry out device discovery: On the Bluetooth
menu, click Device Discovery.
While your device is looking for remote devices,
the following dialog box will show the progress of
the device discovery:
When the device discovery has been carried out,
the list view will show which remote devices within
range are currently available. Also, you can see
the previously discovered devices that are no
longer available (cf. the section “List view”
):
