87 Chapter 17: Provide Nonstop Service with Synology High Availability
Create, delete, or repair volumes and iSCSI LUNs.
Change iSCSI LUN (File-Level) size and location.
Change iSCSI LUN target.
Unavailable Options: The following options cannot be performed when a high-availability cluster exists:
Edit or expand volume and iSCSI LUN (Block-Level) size.
Change RAID types.
Create a High-Availability Cluster
Once you have checked the above requirements and installed Synology High Availability, the two servers can be
combined into a high-availability cluster by going to Overview > Create HA cluster. A setup wizard will walk you
through the steps of creating the high-availability cluster.
