To show video's title using embedded information instead of file name:
Tick Show video's title using embedded information.
To browse and play the radio stations listed on Audio Station:
Tick Enable Internet Radio.
Enhance DMA Compatibility
In the DMA Compatibility section, you can enhance DMA compatibility to make sure the multimedia contents on
your DiskStation are played smoothly on your DMA devices.
To enable transcoder settings:
Tick the following checkboxes to enable transcoders if your DMA does not support the following audio formats:
FLAC, APE, AAC, OGG, and AIFF.
To help DMA identify multimedia file formats:
Tick Enable customized MIME types and enter the customized MIME types.

by specifying the type and sub-type of media files. You can customize the MIME types to help your DMA device
identify the correct file formats.
To manage the list of DMA devices:
Click Device list to see the list of DMA devices found by DiskStation. For more information about managing the
list of DMA devices, click the Help button (with a question mark) at the top-right corner.
Manage Indexed Folder
By default, media files within the photo, video, and music shared folders are indexed by Media Indexing Service.
If you want DMA devices and DSM's photo, video, or music applications to access more files on your DiskStation,
you can add more indexed folders at Main Menu > Control Panel > Media Indexing Service > Indexed Folder.
To add an indexed folder:
1 Click Create.
2 In the window that appears, give the folder a name that will be seen by DMA devices and DSM applications in
the Name field.
3 Click Select, browse to a folder you want to index, and then click OK.
4 In the File Type section, tick the checkboxes to specify which types of media files will be indexed. DMA
devices and DSM applications can only browse and play media files that match the specified file types.
5 Click OK and then click Save.
Note:
Remote folders mounted using File Station cannot be added as indexed folders.
You can add up to 100 indexed folders on your DiskStation
To edit an indexed folder:
1 Select the folder on the folder list, and then click Edit.
2 Make changes to the settings. (See "To add an indexed folder" for detailed information.)
3 Click OK and then click Save.
To remove folder(s) from the list of indexed folders:
1 Select the folder(s) on the folder list, and then click Delete. (Press and hold Shift or Ctrl while making multiple
selections.)
2 Click Yes and then click Save.
