1. If chime is not connected to transformer wires then install 3
alkaline “C” batteries. Make sure batteries are oriented properly
(see Figure 4).
2. Remove back of push button by pushing in tab on bottom with
a small screwdriver (see Figure 5).
3. Look inside the push button and determine which type of push
button will be connected to the chime (see Figure 6).
Push Button 3A (2 Switches): The push button has only two
switches. Go to step 4.
Push Button 3B (1 Jumper): The push button has a single
jumper. Go to step 5.
Push Button 3C (7 or 8 Jumpers or Switches): The push
button has a row of 7 or 8 jumpers or switches. Go to step 5.
WIRELESS CHIME INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: When using this chime with a transformer, bat-
teries are not needed and should not be installed even when
using wireless push buttons.
This chime requires 3 “C” alkaline batteries (not included).
In typical use, alkaline batteries will last up to one year.
WARNING: To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY
or DEATH:
NEVER allow small children near batteries.
If battery is swallowed, immediately notify doctor.
