Adjusting the Backlight
Use the key combinations below to adjust the backlight.
Using a Headset
Your terminal is equipped with an audio connector which can be
connected to a headset. To use the headset, plug the headset jack
into the audio connector on the top of the terminal.
Symbol recommends a 2.5mm jack headset, p/n 50-11300-050.
Note: GSM audio is only available through the headset. For
GSM information, refer to the PDT 8000 Series Prod-
uct Reference Guide.

Shift + App Key 2 or
Shift + App Key 3
Turn backlight on or off.
Shift + Left Arrow Decrease backlight (decrease brightness)
Shift + Right Arrow Increase backlight (increase brightness)
