Getting Familiar
1. Antenna – high gain antenna. The antenna does not extend.
2. LED – indicates an incoming call.
3. Laser scanner. Warning: Do not stare into laser scanner.
4. Earpiece.
5. Mini-headset jack plug. headset into phone for hands-free use.
6. Serial port – download software.
7. Volume adjust buttons – adjust the current call volume and scroll phone menus
and lists.
8. LCD – displays the phone status, menu options, messages and web client pages.
9. Previous Key – tab back between fields on a client page and up a phone menu.
Key wraps to last field.
10. Scan Key – activate the scanner in browser mode.
11. Next Key – tab forward between fields on the browser display and down a phone
menu. Key wraps to first field.
12. END key – end a call, refuse a call, power off the phone and return to a previous
menu.
13. SND key – call the number dialed, send data to the host, accept a call, power on
the phone and to select items in phone menus.
14. FCT key – access specially programmed phone features.
15. NAME key – display names directory.
16. HOLD key – put a call on hold and switch to the Web Client.
17. *< and #> keys – menu and list scrolling keys.
18. CLR key – remove the last digit entered from the keypad.
19. STO key – store a number in the speed-dial directory.
20. RCL key – recall the last number dialed, and to access the speed-dial directory.
21. MENU key – display the phone user menu.
