A Using the Wireless LAN Utility
A.1 Installing Wireless LAN Utility
The Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility comes bundled with the
adapter. The driver and Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility are
available from the Symbol Web site at
(http://www.symbol.com/services/downloads).
Use Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility to view and configure the
adapter settings. Complete the driver installation instructions for
Windows 2000 or XP to install Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility.
A.2 About the Wireless LAN Utility
Once installed, the Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility starts
automatically and appears as an icon on the task tray. The status icon
changes in real-time to reflect the signal strength and availability of the
adapter and the wireless network. Right-click the icon on the task tray to
open the utility.
