4. Select the Install Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility on
this computer checkbox.
5. Click Next to continue.
The Software License Agreement window displays.
6. Click Yes to accept the terms of the Software License Agreement.
The Symbol Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility Installer
window displays prompting the user to disable 802.11d International
Roaming support if using non-Symbol WLAN infrastructure
components that do not support the International Roaming feature.
7. Check the International Roaming checkbox if applicable. Click OK
to continue.
The Symbol Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility Installer -
Information window displays verifying the installation of Symbol a/g
Adapter Configuration Utility and the driver files on the Windows XP
computer. Click OK to continue.
8. When prompted for an installation method, select the Install the
software automatically (Recommended) checkbox.
Note: A Hardware Installation dialog box could also display at
this stage of the installation stating the LA-5030 adapter has
not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility
with Windows XP. Click Continue Anyway.
9. The Found new Hardware Wizard displays a message stating the
wizard has completed the adapter’s software installation.
Click Finish to close the wizard.
Note: Proceed to Configuring the LA-5030 Adapter in Windows
