7. Click Yes to accept the terms of the Software License Agreement.
The Symbol Symbol a/g Adapter Configuration Utility Installer
window displays, prompting the user to disable 802.11d International
Roaming support if using non -Symbol WLAN infrastructure
components that do not support the International Roaming feature.
8. Insert the LA -5030 adapter when prompted by the Symbol Symbol
a/g Adapter Configuration Utility Installer - Information window.
Note: The Microsoft Digital Signature Not Found dialog box
could appear at this point in the installation. A Microsoft
digital signature is not required for the driver installation.
Click Yes to continue.
Click OK when the display indicates the installation is complete.

4.2 Installing the Driver in Windows 2000 For
Use With the Zer o Config Utility
Use the Windows 2000 Zero Config utility as the adapter management
tool if using the Wireless Networker LA -5030 PC Card without the
Symbol Configuration Utility or if using a 3
rd
party software supplicant.
The Symbol Configuration Utility does not function properly while 3
rd
party software supplicants are loaded on the system.
If a version of the Symbol Configuration Utility resides on the system,
use the Windows 2000 Add/Remove Programs utility to uninstall it before
installing the driver.
