Change the order of Program rules

Start Norton.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

In the Norton main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, click Firewall.

On the Program Control tab, select the program that contains the rule that you want to
move.

Click Modify.

In the Rules window, select the rule that you want to move.

Do one of the following:
To move this rule before the rule above it, click Move Up.
To move this rule after the rule below it, click Move Down.

When you are done moving the rules, click OK.

In the Firewall settings window, click Apply.
Turn off a Traffic rule temporarily
You can temporarily turn off a Traffic rule if you want to allow specific access to a computer
or a program. You must remember to turn on the rule again when you are done working with
the program or computer that required the change.
Note: You cannot turn off some of the default firewall rules that appear in the list. You can only
view the settings of these rules by using the View option.

On the Traffic Rules tab, uncheck the box next to the rule that you want to turn off.
