In the Settings window, click Apply, and then click Close.
Turn off Script Control
Note: Turning off Script Control reduces your protection and should be done only if you have
a specific need. Script Control provides an extra layer of security by removing scripts and
sanitizing documents. NortonLifeLock recommends that you keep Script Control turned on at
all times as it provides an extra layer of security.

Start Norton.
If you see the My Norton window, in the Device Security row, click Open.

In the Norton main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, click Antivirus.

In the Antivirus settings window, click the Script Control tab.

In the Remove scripts when downloading documents row, move the On/Off switch to
Off.

In the Block scripts when opening documents row, move the On/Off switch to Off.

In the Settings window, click Apply.

In the Security Request window, in the Select the duration drop-down list, select the
amount of time that you want to turn off the feature, and then click OK.

In the Settings window, click Close.
