2
In the Norton product main window, click Settings.
3
In the Settings window, click Antivirus.

In the Antivirus settings window, click the Updates tab.
5
In the Apply updates only on reboot row, do one of the following:
■ To receive LiveUpdate notifications asking if you want to apply updates without
restarting, move the switch to Off. This is the default setting.
■ To apply updates only after you restart your computer, move the switch to On.
6
In the Settings window, click Apply, and then click Close.
View or fix device security risks that Norton detects
When Norton detects a security risk, it automatically removes it, unless it requires your input
to understand how you want to resolve the risk. If you do need to provide input, Norton displays
a Threats Detected alert or Security Risk alert with suggestions on how to respond to the
security risk.
View risks automatically resolved during a scan
