Managed devices are typically desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.
You cannot manage the smart (IoT) devices in your home that are connected to your Norton
Core network. The Managed option for these devices appear disabled in the device details
screen.
Shared device
A shared device is a device that is assigned to multiple users in your wireless network. A
shared device can be a mobile phone that your kids use or a network printer.
Quarantined device
Devices that are quarantined by Norton Core appear with a red exclamation (!) icon. To take
appropriate action, tap the device name and follow the on-screen instructions.
Submit Norton Core error logs to Symantec
If you contact Norton Support for help, the technician may need the error logs to troubleshoot
an issue. You can submit error logs to Symantec for analysis.
You must have your email client configured on your mobile device to send the error logs.
Note: Norton Core collects and submits data about the Norton-specific errors only. It does not
collect or store any personal information of any user.
