You can exclude a file or folder from the backup set
from Windows Explorer by using the shortcut menu.
The shortcut menu is available after you configure your
backup and when the Manage Backup Sets window
and the Restore Files window are closed. When you
exclude a file from the backup set, Norton 360 lists the
information in the window that appears when you click
Add or exclude files and folders option. You can view
all the files that you excluded from the backup.
You can also remove an exclusion from the list of items
that is included or excluded from backup by using the
Remove from list option. This option is available in
the window that appears when you click Add orexclude
files and folders.
To exclude a file from a backup set

In the Norton 360 main window, click Backup, and
then click Manage Backup Sets.

On the What tab, click Add or exclude files and
folders.

In the window that appears, click Exclude File.

In the file selection window that appears, navigate
to the file that you want to exclude, and then click
Open.

Click OK.

In the Manage Backup Sets window, click Save
Settings to save the settings.
To exclude a folder from a backup set

In the Norton 360 main window, click Backup, and
then click Manage Backup Sets.

On the What tab, click Add or exclude files and
folders.

In the window that appears, click Exclude Folder.

In the folder selection window that appears,
navigate to the folder that you want to exclude, and
then click OK.

Click OK.
