To exclude high-risk security threats from scanning

In the Norton 360 main window, click Settings.

In the Settings window, under Detailed Settings,
click Antivirus.

In the Antivirus settings window, click the Scans
and Risks tab.

Under Exclusions / Low Risks, do one of the
following:
1 In the Items to Exclude from Scans row, click
Configure.
1 In the Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect,
SONAR and Download Intelligence Detection
row, click Configure.

In the window that appears, click Add.

In the Add Item dialog box, click the browse icon.

In the dialog box that appears, select the item that
you want to exclude from the scan.

Click OK.

In the Add Item dialog box, click OK.

In the window that appears, click Apply, and then
click OK.
About Signature Exclusions
Norton 360 lets you select specific known security risks
and exclude them from Norton 360 scans. Exclude a
risk from Norton 360 scans only if you have a specific
need. For example, if another program relies on a
security risk program to function, you might decide to
keep the program on your computer. You might also
decide not to be notified about the program in future
scans.

When you exclude a known security risk from Norton
360 scans, the protection level of your computer
reduces. You should exclude items only if you are
confident that they are not infected.
To exclude a security risk from scans, you need to add
the specific security risk to the Signature Exclusions
