b) Visitor Rings at the Outdoor Unit
• If a visitor pushes the bell button on the outdoor unit, the indoor unit will ring. The display is activated, the camera
image appears.
 TheIR-LEDsintheoutdoorunitareautomaticallyactivatedatlowambientbrightness(IRlightisnotvisible
to the human eye). Observe that the colour presentation on the display will change in this case due to the
functional principle.
• Thenbrieypushthebutton" "(14).Youcanthentalktothevisitor.
• Toactivatethedooropener,brieypushthe" " button (13). The door opener connected to the outdoor unit is then
activated for a few seconds (duration cannot be changed).
• To end the conversation, push the button " " (14). The display goes out.
The indoor unit will switch off again automatically after approx. 3 minutes.
c) Operating Door Opener
A door opener can also be activated if no visitor has rung (e.g. if you can see through the window that someone is
walking towards the entrance and you want to let them in.
• Brieypushthebutton" " (14); the display is activated and the camera image appears.
• Toactivatethedooropener,brieypushthe" " button (13). The door opener connected to the outdoor unit is then
activated for a few seconds (duration cannot be changed).
• Thenbrieypushthebutton" " (14). The display goes out.
d) Ring time muting
It may be disturbing when someone rings at the door at night. For this reason, you can mute the ring tone.
• Thenbrieypushthebutton" " (12).
• The LED (18) at the lower right at the indoor unit lights up. This shows the activated muting.
• To deactivate the ring tone muting, push the button " "(12)againbriey.TheLED(18)goesout.
e) Setting the volume for the speaker of the indoor unit
The volume can be either set in the menu (menu item "AUDIO", see chapter 10. a) or by changing the volume directly
while talking to the visitor by using the buttons " " (10) or " " (9).
f) Select ring tone
• Brieypushthebutton" " (14); the display is activated and the camera image appears.
• Multiple pushing of the button " " (11) selects one of the 12 ring tones.
• Thenbrieypushthebutton" " (14). The display goes out.
