11. Operation
If there is a power outage or the heater is disconnected from the power supply, the “Free Mode” temperature
will be retained but all timer settings will be cleared.
Whenusingtheheaterforthersttime,hotpartsofthecasingmaycauseanunpleasantodour.Thisis
normal.Inthiscaseventilatetheroominwhichtheproductisinstalled.
a) Free Mode
In“FreeMode”,thedevicecanbeusedasanelectronicthermostattomaintainaconstanttemperature.
Turn the heater on (5).
Press the arrow buttons / to set the
desired temperature.
The heating LED (14) will turn on to indicate
thatheatingisactive.
The heater will automatically adjust heating
output to match the set temperature.
b) Day Timer
Notes About the Day Timer:
Thedaytimerisanenergysavingfeaturethatwillstopallheatingonweekendsduringthesettime.Itisdesigned
to always stop heating on days 6 and 7 (Saturday and Sunday).
- Days 1-5 (Mon-Fri): Heating will be ON.
- Days 6-7 (Sat-Sun): Heating will turn OFF.
The timer should be set at the time you want it to run each day. For example, if you want the timer to start at 9 am,
you should set the timer at 9 am.
The timer can be set to run from 1-12 hours.
Seesection“h)SkipTimer”and“i)ClearaTimer”forinformationabouthowtodelayordeactivatethedaytimer.
Ifthedayandnighttimeroverlap,thenexttimerinthesequencewillrun.
Ifatimerhasbeensetbutisnotactive,theheaterwillgointo“sleepmode”andstopheating.
