g) Operation
• Always turn the product to the “OFF” position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when it is not in use
• For safety reasons, unplug the mains plug from the mains socket during a thunderstorm.
• Before you move the product, disconnect it from the power supply and let it cool down to room
temperature.
• Neverpouranyliquids over electrical devicesor place objectslled withliquid next tothe product.
Shouldliquidoranobjectentertheinteriorofthedevice,powerdowntherespectivesocket(e.g.switch
off circuit breaker), and then disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take
the product to a specialist repair centre.
• Topreventapossiblere,donotblockairintakesorexhaustopeningsinanymanner.Donotuseonsoft
surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• Ifitisnolongerpossibletooperatetheproductsafely,stopusingitandpreventunauthorizeduse.Safe
operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- isvisiblydamaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Dangerofelectrocutionorre!Donotpushanyobjectsthroughthevents.
• Dangerofburns!Thehotairventbecomesveryhot.Nevertouchwithbareskin.
• Do not use the heater to dry clothes or any other item.
8. Safety Equipment
Theheaterisequippedwithoverheatprotectionthatcutsthepowerwhentriggered.Immediatelyremoveanything
coveringtheheater(ifapplicable),switchthepowerOFF(5), then disconnect the heater from the power supply. Wait
untiltheheaterhascooleddownsufcientlybeforeswitchingthepowerbackon.
IftheheaterwillnotswitchONaftercoolingdown,itmayhavebeendamagedfromexcessiveheat.Switch
the power OFF (5),disconnectfromthepowersupply,andcontactourtechnicalsupportserviceorother
technical personnel.
