Intended use
With the radio remote-control switch, devices within the RSL-system
(or that are attached to consumers) can be wirelessly enabled or dis-
abled. The RSL system dimmer can also be controlled with the radio
remote control.
The wireless remote control is powered by a type “23A” 12 V battery.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with
moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or mo-
dify this product. If you use the product for purposes other than those
described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re etc. Read the
instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to
third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and espe-
cially observe the safety information. If you do not fol-
low the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such
cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,
strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and
solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can
no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions
or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even
from a low height can damage the product.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although
the wireless remote control transmitter emits only relatively weak
wireless signals, these may lead to malfunction of life-support sys-
tems. The same may be the case in other areas.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connec-
tion of the device.
• Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclu-
sively by an expert or at a qualied shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical
personnel.
b) Batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the battery.
• The battery should be removed from the device if it is not used for
a long period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or
damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with
skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted
batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batte-
ries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into
re. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of
explosion!

2 Slide switch for 4 switch groups
There are a total of 16 wireless receivers (e.g., radio controlled
socket) which can be programmed. The 16 wireless receivers
are divided into 4 control groups: 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16
3 “ALL-ON” button
By pressing this key, all recipients in the selected groups are
activated / switched on.
4 “ALL-OFF” button
By pressing this key, all recipients in the selected groups are
deactivated / switched off.
5 LED lights up when the button is pressed
6 Battery compartment on the back, for a type “23A” battery
Inserting/Replacing the Batteries
• Open the battery compartment (6) on the back of the remote control.
• Insert a type “23A” battery into the battery compartment, observing
the correct polarity (see the plus/+ and minus / - label in the battery
compartment and on the battery).
• Close the battery compartment.
• A battery change is required if the range of the radio remote control
decreases signicantly or the LED (5) does not light up anymore
when the buttons are pressed.
Operation
a) Programming a radio receiver to the remote control
Up to 10 different remote controls can be programmed for
each wireless receiver of the RSL-system.
• Use the slide switch (2) to select the desired switch group.
• Shift the radio receiver (e.g. a wireless incorporated switch, a ra-
dio-controlled socket or the like) to programming mode. Please refer
to the operating manual of the radio receiver (usually press the but-
ton on the wireless receiver for more than 3 seconds, until the LED
begins to ash on the radio receiver).
• Hold down the “ON” key of one of the four channels on the remote
control (3 seconds) until the light stops ashing on the wireless re-
ceiver and instead remains lit. The load connected to the radio re-
ceiver is switched on. Now release the button, and the programming
mode is nished. The wireless receiver has been programmed to
the desired control channel of the radio remote control.
b) Delete the wireless receiver which has now been programmed
from the remote control
• Use the slide switch (2) to select the desired switch group.
• Shift the radio receiver (e.g. a wireless incorporated switch, a ra-
dio-controlled socket, etc.) to the programming mode. Please refer
to the operating manual of the radio receiver (usually press the but-
ton on the wireless receiver for more than 3 seconds, until the LED
begins to ash on the radio receiver).
