The range can sometimes be limited considerably by:
- Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
- Coated/metallised insulated glass
- Proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g. radiators)
- Proximity to human bodies
- Broadband interferences, e.g. in residential areas (DECT tele-
phones, mobile phones, radio-controlled headphones, radio-
controlled speakers, radio-controlled weather stations, baby
phones etc.)
- Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units,
computers
- The proximity to improperly shielded or uncovered operating
computers or other electric appliances
Care and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and
should never be opened or disassembled for any reason.
• Before cleaning the product, disconnect the wireless inbuilt dimmer
from the power supply.
• Only clean the product with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Never use ag-

• Press the “O” button on the wireless wall switch or the “OFF” button
on a remote control, briey and the LED goes out; the mains voltage
is unavailable and a connected consumer load is turned off.
The wireless inbuilt dimmer can be switched on or off manually
using the “ON/OFF Learning Code” button located on the front.
Dimmer Function
• Press the “I” button on the wall transmitter or the “ON” button on
the wireless remote switch. The wireless inbuilt dimmer is activated.
• Press the “I” button on the wall transmitter or the “ON” button on the
wireless remote switch. The dimmer function is activated.
• Press the “I” button again or the “ON” button on the wireless remote
switch. The dimmer function is deactivated.
Range
• The range of the radio signals between the wireless wall switch and
the wireless inbuilt dimmer is up to 70 m under optimum conditions.
This value, however, is the so-called “open space
range” (range the transmitter and receiver are visible
to each other, without interfering influences).
In practical operation, however, there are walls, cei-
lings of rooms etc. between the transmitter and the
receiver, which reduce the range accordingly.
Due to the different influences on the radio transmis-
sion, no specific range can be guaranteed.
However, trouble-free operation is usually possible in
a detached house.
• Press the button “I” on the wireless wall switch or the corresponding
“ON” button e.g. on a wireless remote control, before the LED stops
blinking. The LED on the wireless inbuilt dimmer goes out. The pro-
gramming has been completed successfully.
Deleting programmed wireless inbuilt dimmers
from a remote switch
• Press the button “I” and “O” on the wireless wall switch simultane-
ously, or the buttons “ON” and “OFF” (this applies e.g. to a radio re-
mote control) for the switching channel to which the wireless inbuilt
dimmer was programmed. The LED on the wireless inbuilt dimmer
then starts blinking.
• Press the button “O” on the wireless wall switch, or press the but-
tons “ALL-ON” and “ALL-OFF”, on a remote control, simultaneously.
The LED goes out. All wireless inbuilt dimmers have been deleted
successfully from the remote control.
To delete one single wireless inbuilt dimmer from the
remote control, press the corresponding OFF button
for the switch channel, to which the wireless inbuilt
dimmer was programmed, instead of pressing the
buttons “ALL-ON” and “ALL-OFF”.
Start-up, Function Test
• Make sure that the wireless inbuilt dimmer is supplied with power
(230 V/AC, 50 Hz).
You can now test the function of the wireless inbuilt dimmer by pres-
sing the “I” button on the wireless wall switch. The red LED on the
wireless inbuilt dimmer ashes briey; the mains voltage is available
and a connected consumer load is turned on.

Terminal clamp N IN:
Connect the neutral lead to the power
cord.
Terminal clamp N OUT:
Connect the neutral lead to the dimmer.
Terminal clamp :
Connect the hot lead to the dimmer.
Terminal clamp IN L:
Connect the hot lead to the power cord.
• Insert the wireless inbuilt dimmer into a suitable ush-mounted so-
cket (e.g. ush-mounted sockets Ø68 mm item no. 624926 or item

Programming the wireless inbuilt dimmer to re-
cognise a wireless remote switch
• Switch the power supply to the wireless inbuilt dimmer on. The LED
on the wireless inbuilt dimmer starts to ash.

Programming the wireless inbuilt dimmer to re-
cognise multiple wireless remote switches
Up to 10 radio channels can be programmed for the
wireless inbuilt dimmer.
• Press the “ON/OFF Learning Code”, on the wireless inbuilt dimmer,
until the LED starts blinking red.
