11. The "DAP" jumper
The "DAP" jumper (see position I in section 6) is located inside the combination lock. Use the
jumper to enable programming mode if you cannot remember the master code.
By default, the master code is set to "0000".
Proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the combination lock from the power supply.
• Unscrew both screws on the front of the combination lock and remove them carefully.
• Set the "DAP" jumper (in the upper right-hand corner of the pcb) to the "ON" position.
• Connectthecombinationlocktothepowersupply.ThemiddleLEDwillashandandthe
combination lock will beep.
• Resetthejumpertothe"OFF"position.ThemiddleLEDwillstayconstant.
• The combination lock is now in programming mode.
• Place the front panel back onto the mounting plate (ensure that the cables are not bent) and
screw it in place.
• Set a new master code.
• Press the buttontoexitprogrammingmode.ThemiddleLEDwillstarttoashslowly
(normal mode).
The "DAP" jumper should only be used to enable programming mode if you have
forgotten the master code.
For security reasons, nothing will happen when the jumper is set to "ON" and the
combination lock is switched on. Always remember to disconnect the combination lock
from the power supply before enabling programming mode using the jumper.
