14. Programming example
The following section provides an example of a typical usage scenario:
• Three people have different access codes for accessing a building. The door opener is ac-
tivated by output #1. The time delay for activating the door opener connected to output #1 
is 3 seconds.
• Another person can activate output #2 using a different user code (e.g. for controlling a ga-
rage door). The time delay for activating output #2 is 15 seconds.
• Automatic entry mode is not used (see section 12. m), so the master code and user code can 
be different lengths (4 - 8 digits).
a) Conguring the settings
Step 1: Turn on the power supply
If you have not already done so, connect the combination lock to the power supply. The middle 
LEDwillstarttoashslowly,indicatingthatthelockisreadytouse.
Step 2: Enter the master code 
• Enter the master code and press the star key.
  By default, the master code is set to 0000. If you have set a different master code, 
enter the existing code (not 0000).
• The combination lock will beep twice and the middle LED will stay constant to indicate that 
programming mode is enabled.
Step 3: Change the master code 
  The default master code (0000) must be changed when you set up the combination 
lock.
• Enter the programming code "0", and then enter the new master code (e.g. 12345) and press 
the hash key. 
• ThecombinationlockwillbeeptwiceandthemiddleLEDwillashtwotimes.
  The existing master code (default code = 0000) will be overwritten and can no longer 
be used. You will need to enter the new master code the next time you enable pro-
gramming mode.
