Avoiding parts of the route
On some occasions, you may need to avoid a certain point of the route. Ranging from single route points,
up to road types for entire countries, Sygic can help you reach your destination as quickly and comfortably
as possible. These are the options to avoid certain parts of your route:
1) Avoiding Toll Roads, Highways, Ferries, Unpaved Roads from the Basic and Advanced route
overview:
• You can select to avoid either of the above if considered in your route by pressing the icon it
represents
• You can select whether to avoid the roads above for each country separately

2) Avoiding Route Points
• You can avoid a certain point on your route from the Advanced Route overview > Instructions
section by pressing and holding the point you wish to avoid. If available, a window will pop out with
the avoid option.
