Getting started
Sygic GPS Navigation and Maps is offline navigation software and does not require internet connection
to operate.
Internet connection is only necessary if u want to:
• install, activate or update an application or maps,
• download maps, voice commands, or other files,
• use additional services (if purchased) such as Traffic Information, Traffic Accident Reports or
crowd-sourced Police trap alerts.
Your safety and the safety of your passengers is of utmost importance, that is why you should always plan
your route before the beginning of the journey. Also make sure that you have installed all maps and
updates while in the comfort of your home or at a place with a solid Wi-Fi connection. For longer trips make
sure that you have a compatible charger with 2A output to avoid draining the device battery.
Display modes
Sygic GPS Navigation uses two basic modes – Navigation mode and Map mode.
Map mode allows more efficient map browsing, choosing the destination by clicking on the map or specific
address or POI search using the search bar at the top of the screen
