Connect faucet hose line to filter receiver
Connect the faucet hose end to the output end of the filter receiver assembly. The output end uses a
brass fitting (
3
/
8
NPT x
3
/
8
NPT male connector).
Set the hex nut on the faucet with threads facing tube end and 3/8” ferrule with the tapered end
down. Insert the 3/8” tube insert into the tube (Fig. 4). Use a wrench to connect faucet hose to the
output end of the receiver end. Pull the tube to ensure the connection is firmly secure. (Note: loose
connection may lead to leakage. The correct orientation of sleeve, nut and ring is critical to
prevention of leakage).
Push-in tubing connection
Connect Push-in type tubing: For attaching the hose to the push-in tube type connection insert the
hose past the O-ring until it hits a backstop. Try pulling the hose to ensure the connection is secure
(Fig. 5).
Release Push-in type tubing: Push the collet (Fig. 6) on the adapter for releasing the tubing. With the
collet pushed in pull out the hose from the connection.
