2. Measure and mark the cen-
ter line of the shower sill. Place
the wall jambs against the wall
centered in the sill. Plumb the
jambs and mark the hole loca-
tions on the wall.
For Installation of the SD-A38 NEO Shower Door to the
SA-38 NEO Shower Alcove Wall Unit
3a. When installing a shower door to the SA-38 Neo Shower Alcove unit, you will need
the SD-A38 Neo shower door.
You will have two sets of jambs; the larger or wider of the two will go against the
wall with the open side facing the wall. The second, or narrower jamb will be posi-
tioned so that the opening faces out. The two jambs, when properly positioned, will
form an "H" pattern.
Position the jambs back to back. Measure and mark the center line of the shower
sill. Place the wall jambs against the wall centered in the sill. Plumb the jambs and
mark the hole locations on the wall.
Remove the jambs and drill three (3) holes through each wall with a 3/16" diameter
bit. Insert the plastic wall anchors.
Replace the wall jambs and fasten with six (6) #8 x 2" truss head screws. Upon com-
pletion of this procedure, move to step #4
4. Install the glass panels.
They are to be positioned so
that the three pre-punched
location holes on each panel
face the inside of the shower.
IMPORTANT
Proper positioning of these
glass side panels is critical so
that the door frame and strike
side will snap into place as ref-
ered.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. The Swanstone Neo-Angle
Pivot Shower Door is reversible
and may be installed to pivot-
left or pivot-right (hinge -left or
hinge -right). For maximum
waterproofing, the pivot jamb
should be opposite the shower
head. Use the above diagram
to determine the correct posi-
tion for the door. The follow-
ing installation instructions
illustrate a pivot-right installa-
tion.
CAUTION
For safety reasons, the door
must always open out.
3. Remove the jambs and drill
three (3) holes through each
wall with a 3/16” diameter bit.
Insert the plastic wall anchors.
Replace the wall jambs and
fasten with six (6) #8-32 x 1

⁄2”
truss head screws.
