3.5 Manage Files, Folders and Media
Use the Nautilus File Manager to create and view folders and documents, run scripts
and create CDs of your data. To open Nautilus, change to the Activities view (with
the [Windows] key for example) and click on the icon with the ling cabinet in Dash.
In fallback mode, instead you open Places followed by Personal Folder. In any case,
a new window appears with the content of your home directory.
The elements of the Nautilus window include the following:
Menu Lets you perform most tasks.
Path bar Lets you nd les and folders.
Side bar Lets you navigate or display information about the selected le or folder.
