Enter data in the cells as desired. To adjust appearance,either use the Formatting
toolbar or the Format menu—ordefine styles. Use the File menu or the relevant
buttonsin the toolbarto print and save your document.

Calc comeswith a few built-in cell and page styles to improve the appearanceof
your spreadsheetsand reports.Although these built-in styles are adequate for many
uses, you will probablyfind it useful to create stylesfor your own frequently-used
formatting preferences.
Procedure 17 Creating a Style
1 ClickFormat> Stylesand Formatting.
2 In the Stylesand Formattingwindow,clickone of the iconsrepresentingeither
Paragraph Styles, Paragraph Styles, or Page Styles.
3 Right-clickin the Stylesand Formattingwindow,then click New.
4 Specify a namefor your styleand usethevarioustabsto setthedesired for-
matting options.
5 Click OK.
