To use a standard format and predefined elements for your own documents,trya
wizard (a small utility that lets you make some basic initial decisions and then pro-
duces a ready-made documentfrom a template).For example, to create a business
letter,click File > Wizards> Letter. With the wizard's dialogs, you can create a basic
documentthat uses a standard format.
Enter text in the documentwindow as desired. Use the Formattingtoolbar or the
Format menu to adjust the appearanceof the document.Use the File menu or the
relevant buttonsin the toolbar to print and save your document.With the options
under Insert, add extra items to your document,such as a table, picture, or chart.

With LibreOffice you can customizethe default settingswith the Format menu.

Customizing Character Settings
To set all characterelementsat the same time, selectFormat > Character.
