4 Starting LibreOffice
To startthe LibreOfficesuite,press[ Alt] +[ F2], type
ooffice
and press[ Enter]. In
the welcomedialog, selectthe module you want to open. If an LibreOfficeapplication
is open, you can startany of the other applicationsby clickingFile > New > Name
of Application.
4.1 Saving LibreOfficeFiles
1 To savea newfile,selectFile > Saveor Saveas from theMenuBar or use
the shortcut[
Ctrl
] +[
Shift
] +[
S
].
2 Selectthe directorywhere you wantto savethe file.
3 Enterthe filenamein the Namebox.
4 From theFile Type box, selecttheformat in whichyou wantto savethefile.
In all modulesyou can save your documentsas native LibreOfficefiles, LibreOffice
templates,Microsoft files and StarOffice files.
4.2 Navigatorand NavigationShortcuts
The Navigator tool displays information about the contentsof a document.It also
