Operation Manual

Default Host
This option pertains to the default Web server. As explained in Section “Virtual Host
Conguration” (page 449), Apache can serve multiple virtual hosts from a single phys-
ical machine. The rst declared virtual host in the conguration le is commonly referred
to as the default host. Each virtual host inherits the default host's conguration.
To edit the host settings (also called directives), choose the appropriate entry in the table
then click Edit. To add new directives, click Add. To delete a directive, select it and
click Delete.
