The Survivor Filter Personal Water Filter LT ER TM Component #1: The Cotton Pre-Filter SU RV I VO R FI The Cotton Pre-Filter sits inside the detachable Water Inlet and provides the first line of defense to remove large particles from incoming water. The Water Inlet is internally threaded to accept a 28 mm bottle thread (used by many soda pop bottles). It is also designed to attach to the Survivor Filter Collapsible Canteens as shown in the photo below.

SU The Survivor Filter is rated for 100,000 Liters (26,417 Gallons), depending on the quality of water to be filtered. If you are noticing that the water flow is becoming reduced, then this is an indication that the Ultra Filter has become clogged with contaminants.

Place Survivor Filter directly into the fresh water source. 3. Blow gently into the Survivor Filter to dislodge particles or air pockets. 4. Pull water up through the Survivor Filter Mouthpiece, just like a straw.

Fill one of your Survivor Filter Collapsible Canteens with water from the fresh water source. 2. Screw the filled Canteen into the Water Inlet of the Survivor Filter. 3. Invert the Survivor Filter and Collapsible Canteen as shown in the photo below. 4. Squeeze the Canteen to start the flow into the Survivor Filter and drink.

Screw the filled pop bottle into the Water Inlet of the Survivor Filter. 3. Invert the Survivor Filter and pop bottle as shown in the photo below. 4. Squeeze the pop bottle to start the flow into the Survivor Filter and drink.

Gently rotate Mouthpiece with the integrated Carbon Filter so that the Lock Pins (A) are aligned with the openings of the Lock Slots (B).

The Survivor Filter Personal Water Filter LT ER TM Cleaning and Storage 1. Disassemble components. 2. Backwash the Ultra Filter with clean, fresh water. Backwashing can be done by holding the Ultra Filter under clean, filtered water from a tap. 3. Rinse Cotton Pre-Filter and Carbon Filter in clean, fresh water. 4. Air dry and then reassemble. FI DO NOT use commercial cleaning solutions or chemicals to clean your Survivor Filter as they may damage the delicate filters and components.
