Step 2: Place Phone Mount Antenna & Connect Components
Choose your preferred mounting method using either the vent clip or dash mount option. We suggest
a location that is:
• Within 2-3 feet of the typical location of the cell phone
• At least 8 inches (20cm) from other cellular devices
• At least 4 inches (10cm) from metal surfaces
Select your Cradle Mounting option:
Dash Mount
Slide the Lock Ring around the Dash Mount ball joint
While keeping the Lock Ring around the ball joint, push the joint into the ball
joint receptacle located on the back of the cradle
Secure the Dash Mount to the Cradle by tightening the Lock Ring around the
receptacle
Remove the tape on both sides of the Dash Mount adhesive pad and apply
where desired
Mounting plate provided for permanent installation option (screws not
included)
Vent Clip Mount
Slide the Lock Ring around the Vent Clip Mount ball joint
While keeping the Lock Ring around the ball joint, push the joint into the ball
joint receptacle located on the back of the cradle
Secure the Vent Clip Mount to the Cradle by tightening the Lock Ring around
the receptacle. Clip the Mount where desired
