Step 2: Place Phone Mount Antenna & Connect Components
Use the air vent mount or place the phone mount antenna on or near the location where the
cellular device will be located. We suggest a location that is:
• Within 2-3 feet of the typical location of the cell phone
• At least 8 inches (20cm) from other cellular devices
• At least 4 inches (10cm) from metal surfaces
Attach the adhesive metal plate to your phone or place the non-adhesive metal plate in
your cell phone case for a secure magnetic hold. Place the cell phone on the phone mount
antenna.
Route the cable from the phone mount antenna to the location of the N-Range cable
connector. Join cables and hand tighten.
