22. What to do if... ?
Fault Cause / solution
... the roller shutters stop while
lowering?
a) e roller shutters may have hit an
obstacle.
Move the roller shutters back up and
remove the obstacle.
b) e roller shutters may be too light.
Load the roller shutters by e. g. inser-
ting a section of flat steel into the
lower-most slats.
... the roller shutters suddenly stop
while lifting?
... the belt winder will not move
up or down?
a) The drive is blocked, e. g. due to
freezing of the roller shutters or other
obstacles.
b) Possibly the roller shutters are not
running sufficiently smoothly. Check
the roller shutters and roller shutter
guides.
c) e roller shutters may be too heavy.
e maximum lifting power of the belt
winder may have been exceeed, see
page 97.
e max. drive running time has been ex-
ceeded, see page 83 and page 97. e drive
is too hot.
e belt winder will be operational again
after 30 minutes.
