to your computer. You can choose from the zip ﬁ le and the .exe ﬁ le. If you choose

the zip BIOS ﬁ le, please unzip the BIOS ﬁ le onto a bootable device or a USB pen.

Run the batch ﬁ le using the format ﬂ ash.bat ﬁ lename.rom from your bootable device

or USB pen to ﬂ ash the BIOS. Then, your system will automatically reboot. If you

choose the .exe ﬁ le, please run the .exe ﬁ le under Windows to create the BIOS ﬂ ash

ﬂ oppy disk. Insert the ﬂ oppy disk into the system you wish to ﬂ ash the BIOS. Then,

bootup the system to the ﬂ oppy disk. The BIOS utility will automatically ﬂ ash the

BIOS without any prompts. Please note that this process may take a few minutes

to complete. Do not be concerned if the screen is paused for a few minutes.

Warning: Do not shut down or reset the system while updating BIOS to

prevent possible system boot failure!

Note: The SPI BIOS chip used on this motherboard is not removable. To

repair or replace a damaged SPI chip, please send your motherboard to

our RMA Department for service.

Question: What's on the CD that came with my motherboard?

Answer: The supplied compact disc has quite a few drivers and programs that will

greatly enhance your system. We recommend that you review the CD and install

the applications you need. Applications on the CD include chipset drivers for the

Windows OS, and security and audio drivers.

3-4 Returning Merchandise for Service

A receipt or copy of your invoice marked with the date of purchase is required be-

fore any warranty service will be rendered. You can obtain service by calling your

vendor for a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. When returning

to the manufacturer, the RMA number should be prominently displayed on the

outside of the shipping carton, and mailed prepaid or hand-carried. Shipping and

handling charges will be applied for all orders that must be mailed when service

is complete.

This warranty only covers normal consumer use and does not cover damage in-

curred in shipping or from failure due to the alternation, misuse, abuse or improper

maintenance of products.

During the warranty period, contact your distributor ﬁ rst for any product problems.
